Do the injections hurt?

Botox and fillers are injected using a tiny needle. Some patients find the injection causes a mild temporary discomfort but is very easily tolerated. A local anasethetic cream can be used to numb the area if needed.

Do I need a skin test?

No, a skin test is not necessary prior to treatment.

How will I look after treatment?

After treatment you may have mild bruising, redness and/or slight temporary swelling at the injection sites, which can be concealed with make up. This should settle down within a couple of days.

How do I know the practitioner / procedures are safe?

I am a fully trained Registered General Nurse with 5 years experience in the aesthetic industry. I have had both basic and advanced training in all procedures carried out.

My NMC registration number and evidence of all training can be seen upon request. All procedures are carried out following an initial consultation to discuss expectations and tailor a treatment plan, during which time risks and side effects are discussed. All products used have an excellent safety record with clinical data to support this.

How long does it take to notice results?

Botox takes around 5-12 days to notice results. Dermal fillers provide instant results although some swelling or bruising may be initially present.

How long can I expect treatments to last?

Results can vary however as a guide Botox can be expected to last between 3-5 months. Dermal fillers can last from 6 months up to 12 months plus and Sculptra can last 2 to 3 years.

Where can I have treatments done?

Treatments can be carried out at clinics in Bromborough, Wirral, Crosby, Merseyside and in Oldham. Alternatively treatments can be carried out at your home.

Can I have Restylane and Perlane after a facial peel?

Yes but it is recommended that you wait until 4 weeks after having a facial peel
